Trident Literacy Association is proud to announce the kick off of the 2015 Lowcountry Giving Day.
Lowcountry Giving Day 2014 raised a total of $4,003,591.62 from 7,166 individuals for 93 participating nonprofits, the highest amount collected in 24 hours of giving in similar challenges among all 50 states.
Will you help us #LiftTheLowcountry a second time? Hosted by Coastal Community Foundation, Lowcountry Giving Day will take place on May 5, and we need your help to support the Trident Literacy Association amongst 180+ nonprofits in nine counties along the South Carolina coast!
Coastal Community Foundation will channel gifts through their website, which will make it easy to give and easy to see how much we as a community donate together. You can learn more about how to support your favorite organization on their blog.

Trident Literacy Association thanks you for your help and participation at our Roast for Mayor Summey!!
Trident Literacy - staff, volunteers and students thank you for a great event raising $55,000.
We received such positive comments about the roast. Everyone enjoyed the great wit of all our speakers and we are grateful for the opportunity to highlight our organization and our mission.
Your support helps us secure needed funds to continue our high standard programs offering adults, throughout the tri-county, the opportunity to improve their literacy skills, earn their GEDs and WorkKeys Career Readiness Certificates and gain the tools they need to advance to higher education and/or qualify for better jobs. This opportunity elevates not only the adults who study with us, but also their entire families, as they set a new standard of achievement and desire to succeed nd social goals.
We look forward to the next event!!
